Long day
I got online about lunchtime to get stuck into some article writing only to find half ofmy Word files are missing. They have vanished and I have no idea what happened. Some were personal Word documents, most were business. Of course nothing was backed up or saved anywhere.
It’s lucky some of the stuff I need has been printed so I do have printed copies to rewrite everything with. Doesn’t make it any less annoying. Some of the stuff I am ok with losing but the major one wa all my articles. Seves ,e right for not having them done and submitted by now. Learnt my lesson definitely.
Will get stuck into the articles over the next few days. Will slowly get the other stuff written up as I’m not in desperate need for it. I still have plenty of printed copies before I need more.
Envelopes coming in the next few days and labels hopefully coming this week some time because they haven’t debited my card yet for the payment.
*sigh* just when you think you’re starting to get in front. But I did, at least, get heaps of work done yesterday with regards to printing and cutting wrappers. Tomorrow I have housework piled high due to not much getting done today.
Oh my god what a nightmare! Bloody technology - sometimes you wonder whether or not it’s worth it don’t you!

Well I can’t find any of it. Have absolutely no idea where it vanished to.
argh - it should have stored itself on your hard drive somewhere… maybe it is worth a call to an IT person, they may be able to retrieve it for you …
Yeh I thought it was supposed to store somewhere. I’ve downloaded Recover My Files things and even some high tech one that I couldn’t even understand. I did a system restore, they weren’t in my recycle bin.
But it was really strange as to what I lost. I have folders within folders and I lost all the sub folders inside my main folders. None of my images and pictures are missing. All my loose files are there, just the stuff inside sub folders went. It was just weird.
